INTERCESSORY MINISTRY

The Intercessory Ministry enables committed members to intercede in prayer, to share God’s love with one another and to offer themselves to God as instruments, to be used for HIS work in the world.

As one family, led by the guidance of the Holy Spirit and through the Motherly intercession of our Blessed Mother, we lift up the needs of the world and all those who need us to intercede for them. The Movement welcomes and receives prayer requests either through email or personal contacts / requests. Please note that we respect your privacy.

Every Thursday we observe a day of fasting and prayer, for the needs of the Group as well as those of the world. An “Intercessory Calendar” for each month is prepared and an email nudge is sent to all recipients currently on the database of the Movement Group to view the calendar on our website. This enables us to intercede as one for every special need of the world.

The ministry participates in the Mass, followed by Adoration, reciting the Rosary and Reconciliation at Our Lady of Assumption Church, Onehunga. Later they assemble, intercede and pray together. The Ministry organises a Mission every two years – led by Rev. Fr. Augustine Vallooran and his team. (The next one is scheduled to be held in October this year). Refer to our Activities page for more information.

MUSIC MINISTRY

The Music Ministry is the heart of the movement and its spirituality as we are determined to focus our Praise and Worship on giving all glory to our Lord Jesus Christ.

By coming together in one body of Christ and singing from our hearts we hope to bring about anointed praises to heal the people from their infirmities and bondages as the Spirit moves in the ‘Praise and Worship’ hymns.

The members of the Music Ministry seek to serve the Lord and His body, the Church by leading the people to worship in spirit and in truth. This, we will achieve only by committing ourselves to grow personally in the Lord JESUS, by reading the Word of God, daily prayer and also regularly receiving the sacraments of the Church.

View our Music Ministry page for more information.

MARRIAGE MINISTRY

Anniversary MassThe Marriage Ministry aims for couples to celebrate God’s love. The Ministry celebrated its first ‘Renewal of Marriage Vows’ Mass on 17 July 2007 at Christ the King Church, Owairaka, Mt Roskill. The mass was celebrated by Fr. To get couples to understand that GOD is the one who instituted marriage, to understand His divine purpose and plan through our Saviour Lord JESUS CHRIST and see the spiritual importance and significance of marriage. To get couples to remember the joyous occasion of their marriage, by organising Marriage Seminars, Spiritual Guidance and Intercessory Prayers thereby strengthening their marriages and families. To reconcile broken marriages and strengthen the marriage bond.
